1) Run a Disk Cleanup : Disk Cleanup is an important tool in Windows Computer which helps to search and remove unnecessary and unwanted files of your computer. It doesn't remove your personal or important files from the PC or Laptop.
So, you need to run it first and remove the unwanted junk and temporary files from you computer. It is a smart tool which very intelligently scans your hard drive and deletes the files which are of no use to the computer.
To start Disk Cleanup :
Press the Windows + R key on your keyboard. Once the RUN window opens, type cleanmgr and press OK or Enter key on your keyboard.
If you are using Windows 10 then type Disk Cleanup in the search box in taskbar and click on the application to open.
Now, select the drive you want to clean and click Ok. It will scan your drive and might take a few minutes. Once you get the next screen, check all the boxes and click on OK to delete the temporary files. Clean all the drives one by one to free up more space on your hard drive.

Many a times malwares or viruses enter into the computer due to its weak firewall protection. And they attack the browser and applications on the computer. So day by day the computer performance becomes slow.
It is also important to keep the antivirus database up-to-date. So that the latest threats can be blocked from entering the computer.
Open the antivirus program on your computer and run a full system scan. You can also download and install Malware Bytes security application in your computer and run a full system scan. This tool is really a great tool for checking if your system has any malware or malicious files or programs.
