How to Start Blogging ?

If you want to become a blogger and start your own blog, then this post is going to be very useful for you. 

First of all, if you have some confusion regarding blogging. Then let me clear your all confusion.

A blog is a website where an individual person or group of persons share their views or opinion on a particular topic or sometimes more than one topic.

So, if you are creative and can share your experience or opinion on some topic through words and sentences then you can go ahead.

If you just want to start a blog and don't want to spend money for it, then the best platform is BLOGGER. Blogger is a free platform which is owned and managed by Google. It is a trusted platform with some limited features but is good enough for beginners. Beginners can simply go ahead on this platform and setup their blog without any cost.


Blogger is simple and user friendly platform where users can sign-in or sign-up with their Google account and start blogging very easily. The interface is also quite easy to understand. Moreover, blogger also has plenty of attractive templates and tools to make your blog look professional. 

The domain name that you get for free with blogger has a dot BlogSpot extension. For example: www.yourblogname.blogspot.com

If you want to continue with this free domain name then you can continue. But if you apply for Google AdSense program in future, then your application might get rejected due to free domain name. Because as per AdSense policy the domain name of the website or blog applying for AdSense should have a top level domain name like .com or .net or .in or .edu etc. 

So if you have a plan to earn money from your blog in future, then you can simply spend a few bucks and purchase a domain name. You can buy a domain name from any domain name registrar website and connect that domain name to your blogger blog. Trust me it is very easy and you can do it by yourself. You can give your blogger blog a professional website look by using a custom theme. You can add pages like About Us, Contact and Privacy Policy in blogger.

The other platform for creating a blog is WORDPRESS. WordPress is a great platform for blogging. It is the most powerful and robust platform on the internet for bloggers. But before proceeding be ready to spend some money as you need to buy WordPress hosting for setting up a blog through this platform.


There are many websites which offer WordPress hosting at a reasonable cost. You can get a reliable WordPress hosting anywhere on the internet from $2.5 to $6 depending upon your requirement. WordPress offers a free and open source tool which can be easily integrated with your hosting platform. After which you can start designing your blog.

You can do any changes to your blog because you are the sole owner.

So, if you ask my opinion, then I would recommend WordPress for blogging if you are ready to spend some money. But if you want to create a blog for free then you can definitely choose blogger platform.
